Holiday Animation for brainCloud

brainCloud is a Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform developed by bitHeads, a privately held technology company established in 1995. With over 500 successful projects delivered to Fortune 1000 organizations worldwide, bitHeads is recognized for its expertise in both custom software development and scalable backend solutions.

For this project, I designed a Christmas-themed animation to celebrate the winter holiday season. The goal was to create a warm, festive piece that aligned with brainCloud’s brand identity while spreading holiday cheer. The animation combined playful seasonal elements with a clean, fun and making it engaging and memorable for the company’s audience.

This holiday animation was designed to celebrate the festive season while highlighting brainCloud’s friendly and approachable brand identity. Built in Adobe After Effects, the piece features a cozy, snow-covered winter village surrounded by pine trees, playful clouds, and a cheerful snowman welcoming viewers at the brainCloud signpost.

The animation emphasizes warmth and community through its inviting colour palette, soft rounded shapes, and smooth transitions. The central holiday house and surrounding details evoke a sense of wonder, while the “Happy Holidays” message ties the design together with a celebratory tone.

The goal of this project was to create a memorable seasonal greeting that spreads joy while keeping the brand visible in a subtle, thoughtful way. The result is a playful yet polished animation that works perfectly for digital holiday cards, seasonal campaigns, and social media outreach.

I also developed an alternate version of the holiday animation for this project. Since the Moai head is the logo of bitHeads, I incorporated it as a central element in the design. In this version, a Moai pilot—representing bitHeads—flies a plane gracefully over snow-covered hills, while soft snowflakes fall and a truck filled with Christmas presents enters the scene.

This concept introduced a playful, narrative-driven approach that highlighted the company’s identity within a festive, whimsical winter setting. Although this variation was not selected as the final deliverable, it demonstrated my ability to explore multiple creative directions and adapt brand elements to seasonal storytelling.
